We knew the James Tudor underwear launch was going to be nothing to write home about but a night out with free booze seemed the perfect opportunity to have a little new year get together.
However we did not know how low rent it would be.
In Vondame Mayfair once I had struggled my way across the stickiest dance floor ever I was handed a vodka and cranberry.
"Is there alcohol in this?"
After being reassured there was I necked it and took another one.
With only 4 models sporting the product and a few pairs strewn from the ceiling the event did not showcase the product at all. Some might say the venue was apt for the product.
After a couple of hours drinking with no effect we ditched and went to have real cocktails in the nearby Claridges Bar.
