Aren't you Precious.

The story of a 16 year old illiterate girl who is pregnant with her second child from a rapist father and living with a mentally and physically abusive mother should have you in tears even before the lights dim in the cinema. However at the Precious screening as much as I wanted to bawl my eyes out it was just not happening. Somehow the film just missed plucking at my heart strings. Sad but true. I wanted so much more and with an excellent marketing campainge in full swing this film with be leaving a lot of people just slightly cold.
