Crash Bang Whallop

Last night at the Gargosion Gallery I was for filled by the art rather than drink, which was handy because there was none.
The private view of Crash, Homage to J.G. Ballard was rammed and there was good reason. With works from Salvidor Dali, Roy Lichtenstein, Jake and Dinos Chapman, Helmut Newton, Andy Warhol, Francis Bacon, Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, Cindy Sherman, Jenny Saville and many more I was in good company as I inhaled the themes of sex, death, machinery, driving and giant mushrooms.
I cant praise it enough and will be returning to savour these great works again very soon.

Wait: outside in the cold!

It's never the best idea to have the bar at a private view outside in the middle of the worst winter in recent memory. However this was what The White Cube did for Franz Ackermann: Wait exhitition last night. After briefly perusing the large brightly coulured spining paintings and having a Big Tasty looking section of paint pointed out to me by Karis from W.G.S.N. we downed a single Peroni in the bitter cold and parted ways so I could be home in time for CSI. Geektastic.
